At Drs. Bloch and Gertler, we use air abrasion technology to remove decay on teeth without even touching them.

Air abrasion combines air and tiny abrasives to gently blast away the affected areas. There is no heat and no vibration – just the sound of an air stream. Air abrasion is so precise and so gentle, it can often be used without an anesthetic.
